Our Practice and Staff
Our
Dental Practice focuses upon prevention of disease and maintenance of health.
We work to enable you to restore and maintain your
dental health and attractiveness. Patients visiting a dentist
come seeking different levels of dental care based upon the patient's
resources, beliefs, and values. We try to raise the level of dental
care sought by educating patients about what better dental care
can mean to them in terms of their general health, physical attractiveness,
and social confidence.
Our Philosophy Of Practice
Our goal is to provide you with quality dentistry and to help you keep all your teeth healthy for the rest of your life. We want to accomplish this with the minimum stress, discomfort and expense.
You Are Part of The Team
Our dental office is a health-oriented team of professionals focused on meeting your dental needs. We put aside an especially appointed time to deliver the quality care that you need.
Every time you have an appointment with us, several of our staff have dedicated that time to your care and await your arrival. You, the patient, are part of your health team. By being punctual, you demonstrate your commitment to your dental care.
Dental Staff - Front Office

Our staff recognizes you as a whole person whose dental needs are just a part of your challenging life. Our staff also knows that the quality of your dental care affects how well you function in the rest of your life.
As you enter our office, you will probably meet the staff in the following sequence:

Schedule Coordinator - Stacey greets you and makes hygiene and dental appointments. Stacey joined our practice in 2002.
The front office staff understands that a pleasant atmosphere and experience in the front office prepares you for a good experience in the clinical area of our practice.
Dental Staff - Dental Assistants
We called our dental assistants here because of
their care for patients as persons and their zeal to provide you
with the best possible care.
Because of the high tech nature of our practice,
our assistants are exceptional in their training and experience.
Our assistants are true professionals who have dedicated themselves
to the highest level of a demanding career. Their outstanding
level of caring, training and experience are a manifestation of
that dedication.

Norma has been a dental assistant since 1986 and joined our dental team in 1996.

Kelley has been a dental assistant since 1997 and joined our dental team in 2002.
Dental Staff - Hygienists
Our hygienists care about you as a whole person,
not just a mouth. Therefore, you can feel quite pampered during
your regular 4-6 month prophylaxis visits.
Your hygienist cares how you feel as well as caring that you get the optimal dental care.

Talisha (Tish) has been practicing dental hygiene with us since the turn of this century, Y2K.
Our dental hygienists have undergone two years of rigorous training and have passed a challenging Texas State Board exam to become recognized as professional registered hygienists.
And, that is only the beginning! In our practice, we require hygienists as well as the dentist to wear magnification and read x-rays. With magnification and our digital positive x-rays, our hygienists often detect potential dental problems even before Dr. Goodall examines your teeth.
Dental Staff - Dentist - June Goodall, DDS

June Goodall felt called to be a dentist while in high school, when women were strongly discouraged from becoming dentists. She taught in public school for 15 years until she was able to enter dental school. There were, even then, only eight women in her dental class.
Dentists must complete two years of pre-dental education in an accredited university, pass an entrance exam, sustain four years of dental school and pass a written and clinical exam by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
Dr. Goodall has earned a Bachelor of Science (Univ. Richmond) and Master of Education (Eastern Carolina) prior to becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery (Univ. Texas - San Antonio).
U.S. News and World Report rated Dr. Goodall's school,
the Univ. of Texas Dental School in San Antonio as the best dental
school in the nation in the years Dr. Goodall studied there.
How did she feel about being delayed so many years
in getting to fulfill her vocation as a dentist? Dr. Goodall replied,
I guess it was meant to be that I become a human being first.
Her humanness is characteristic of Dr. Goodall's style
of dentistry. During those early pre-dental years, in addition
to her experience teaching, Dr. Goodall underwent many hours of
training in interpersonal relations.
Another characteristic of Dr. Goodall's dentistry is her
love and commitment to learning and professional growth. Dr. Goodall
takes courses in at least four annual dental conventions:
1) The Greater Houston Dental Society;
2) the Texas Dental Association and
3) the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
4) the (nation-wide) Seattle Dental Study Group
Dr. Goodall has been one of the earliest practitioners of laser dentistry and is one of a few in the nation utilizing this advanced technology.
Dr. Goodall also actively participates in study groups on dental implantology. She interpreted her commencement at Dental School as the beginning of learning, not the completion of it.
Dr. Goodall is not only licensed and experienced
but is also up-to-date and driven to stay up-to-date on the latest
dental technology driven from within by a desire to learn and
grow in a vocation that she has yearned to fulfill since her teen
years.
